Exhibiting at the fair in Albania
TIM Kabel introduced itself to potential partners of the Albanian market. The most significant local trade fair was held in Tirana from the 24th-30th of November 2008. It is the central place for B2B encounters for business partners of all branches.
For a longer time now Albania has been opening up its doors to the rest of the world, with many larger investments undergone in the sectors of tourism, industry, energy, infrastructure etc. We see great potential for export here. A large number of multinational companies from all over the world are already doing business in Albania, especially from Italy with whom there are traditionally good trade collaborations. The second largest number of exporters to Albania, after Italy, comes from Greece.
Albanian and Croatian relations are at a strong point therefore merchandise exchange is at a constant growth. It is now at a level of approximately 35 million USD export, while import last year was at a level of 3, 03 million USD. Tirana pleasantly surprised us all with its hospitality and great economic development and in every other aspect also. It is defiantly a destination with one of the largest commercial potentials in South Eastern Europe.
