Female alpine climbers conquered Mount Everest

mt_ever1.jpgDespite the unfavorable weather conditions, strong winds, temperatures of -50 degrees celsius and the avalanche that hit them during the climb, members of the Croatian women's alpine team managed to meet their goal and to conquer the top of Mount Everest.

The 8850 meter high peak was reached on Tuesday, May 19th 2009. at 05:55 pm Croatian time by the female alpinists along with sisters Darija and Iris Bostjancic.

Tim Cable congratulates the Bostjancic sisters and the entire female alpine expedition from the bottom of our hearts on achieving this magnificent success. Along with the congratulations, we now wish them a fast and safe return to their homeland.

Greetings from the Himalayas!

A person is rarely as pleasantly surprised as when friends from faraway contact them. We were surprised on Tuesday, May 26th 2009 when the postman knocked twice on our door bringing a postcard and greetings from the distant Himalayas from the girls of the women's mountaineering expedition.

Thanks girls!
