Tim Kabel, the leading cable supplier and distributer for Croatia and the surrounding region, on Thursday the 12.11.2009 formally marked 15 years of trade. The Crystal Hall at the Hotel Westin Zagreb was the place of gathering for more than 300 guest from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Austria, Germany, Italy, The Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, the U.S., and amongst them were well respected faces from the economic and social circles of life. The reception, aside from being highly entertaining, was of a promotional and humanitarian character which saw the Croatian Community of ‘Marriage Encounters’ and the Catholic Society ‘Kristofori’ receive a handsome donation of 75,000 HRK each.

The beginning of the formal event was marked by a speech from the company director Mr. Ivan Topčić. In presenting Tim Kabel’s new catalogue for cables and wires, the assistant to the director Mr. Matija Topcic noted: ‘This catalogue is a unique product, completely adapted to the requests and needs of the Croatian market’. The catalogue, which was several hard years in the making, is entirely a product of the Tim Kabel team with special thanks to Ms. Renata Jelusic, an engineer of electro-technics.

“The information found in the catalogue is very detailed and will certainly be of great assistance to everybody, and is especially a helpful tool for project designers to have in their offices, because for the first time almost all types of cables that are used in our region have been detailed and captured in one place’ emphasized Mr. Matija Topcic.

The entertainment rich evening saw the likes of the traditionally great Miroslav Skoro; the excellent Daddy Cool band; Zeljka Marinovic, who marked the start of the donation ceremony by performing the song ‘In the Name of Love’; the artistic group Triko, who surprised everybody with their original performances; and actors Mila Elegovic and Tarik Filipovic, who performed a play scripted and directed by Goran Kulenovic which brought everybody to tears from laughter. The evening was hosted by well known Croatian celebrity Mirko Fodor.
