Traditional gathering 2012.

This year's annual Tim Kabel gathering took place in Dalmatia, the most beautiful part of Adriatic coast. Almost all employees, together with wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends have gathered in well renowned touristic place, Vodice. Weekend started with Sibenik sightseeing.

It was founded as a fort beneath the fortified citadel of St. Mihovil. Sibenik was granted its autonomy in 1290, when Sibenska dioceze had been founded. During 15th and 16th century Sibenik was one of the most important Croatian renaissance centres, with numerous artists working in it. Some of the most important sights in Sibenik are St Jacob cathedral, St Francis church, St Mihovil fort, St John fort and many others.

The main event, dinner, was in celebratory tone. There was a raffle and the last three contestants had to answer on questions about Sibenik's history. Sanja, the winner, won a trip for four persons to most beautiful Austrian towns. Miljenko won the second prize, a food processor , and was overjoyed. The highlight of the evening was the speech given by director Mr Topcic. He made an overview of the passing year which will be ended with same success as the previous year. His words gave us strength to try even harder next year. We have new employee of the year, actually two this year. Thanks to their great efforts, those are Tomislav Grgic and Josip Tokic.

The next day, we had a beautiful boat ride through Sibenik canal and river Krka up to Skradin. The wind and the rain tried to spoil our day, but before long, we were able to enjoy beautiful Croatian landscapes. The day continued in pleasant country restaurant with excellent food, good atmosphere and music. After lunch, we continued towards Zagreb, Split and Osijek.

We've had a wonderful weekend together that made our team stronger.
