Traditional gathering 2013.

The 14th celebration was held in the jewel of world's natural beauty, the slightly snowy Plitvice Lakes. As every year, the celebration was attended by spouses, boyfriends and girlfriends of our employees.

The weekend began with walk in the sun-drenched green scenery, accompanied by beautiful songs made by clear waters and green waterfalls. The beauty of the Plitvice leaves no one indifferent. We could do nothing but admire the nature and listen intently about how it changes from year to year, grows and creates new shapes. We were told that due to the constant growth of travertine in the next hundred years all the current paths will be submerged. Our walk got a whiff of adventure when we came across a frozen tracks without handrails. We had to be very careful but with team effort and without mishap we managed to reach safe ground.

The Gala dinner was full of positive energy. Director Ivan Topcic spoke about the many successes this year, which made 2013th the best year since the start of our business. Among other things, he pointed out the increase in the share of exports in total turnover to 30% and the hope that next year this percentage will be even higher.

The star of the evening was our purchasing and exports director, this year's best employee Ivan Breulj. Whenever his name came up, we all welcomed it with loud approval. He is remarkable employee who managed by selfless work, together with his team, to double Tim Kabel export compared to 2012. Shortly before our trip to Plitvice, he arranged a business deal with a company in Mexico. This will make Mexico 67th Tim Kabel export market. Congratulations to him and all the team!

With a fantastic band in tune with its public a really good night ensued with some even greeting the dawn!

After Plitvice we visited the Church of Croatian Martyrs in Udbina and listened about the tragic battle at Krbavsko field and other events in the distant and recent history of Lika and Croatia. After we went on a short tour to Rastoke and lunch at a nearby restaurant.
