Halogen-free fire alarm installation cable with improved properties under fire, applied in measurement, data and control systems. Electrostatic screen protects transmission circuits against external disturbing electromagnetic impacts. Suitable for fixed installation in dry or damp premises where people and material goods need to be protected in case of fire. Recommended for public and industrial facilities where a lot of people is gathering, and for facilities of high material value. Not for direct laying in ground or water, not for outdoor application (except when adequately protected against sunlight), not intended for supply purposes. The cable is safe acc. to 180-minute test – insulation remains compact under the impact of open flame during the entire test period of 180 minutes. Retained circuit integrity 30 or 90 minutes, depending on installation technique. E30: Cable enables a 30-minute circuit integrity under fire, enough for evacuation of people and animals from the building under fire. During the period of 30 minutes enables functioning of alarm systems, panic lighting, passenger elevators for evacuation purposes, excepting cables installed within pit ladders and engine-rooms. E90: Cable enables a 90-minute circuit integrity under fire, in submarine stations under increased pressure for the purpose of avoiding smoke and increased temperature on safety steps and inner rooms, pit ladders and engine-rooms, elevators for fire-fighting brigades, and hospital elevators.
